We acquired our two bedroom, two bath, 1200sq ft with large balcony unit in October of 2005 and have enjoyed many wonderful times here – from hot, summer days by the pool to that wonderful ice storm spent cozy by the fire. We hope you feel free to relax and enjoy all that The Island has to offer!
We purchased the unit with specific attention to location – the balcony overlooks the fountain courtyard and offers a gorgeous western view of Lake Travis.

About Lago Vista
Originally a lakeside resort development with homes, condominiums, and golf courses, it was eventually incorporated in 1984 and officially became Lago Vista. It currently boasts a population of just under 12,000. The name in Spanish means "Lake View" and since it is situated on one of the highest points in the Hill Country, it rewards the visitor with spacious views of Lake Travis as it winds around the canyon. The community encompasses more than 15 miles of shoreline on Lake Travis and is the gateway to the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, home to the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler and the Black-capped vireo.
Abundant white-tailed deer roam along the lakeshore and golf courses where there's year-round golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, and tennis. Traveling west on F.M. 1431 offers exceptional scenery through Hill Country and allows access to the other lakes of Texas Hill Country: Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake ,Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls the Colorado River and the Llano River.
Especially pretty during spring with bluebonnets and other wildflowers. Lago Vista Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Hill Country Dayz Festival each fall in Sept. - Oct.
