Terrific small-town location with 5 minute access to conveniences like major grocery stores, US Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Pizza Hut, library, post office, UPS, JiffyLube, etc. but home is located on a dead end road leading to the river (nice part of town, about 6 blocks from the river and the gated community and the million dollar homes, though this isn't one of them! :)

Home has view for neighbor's undeveloped greenbelt/forest lot along the entire south side, normal view of neighbor's yard on the north side. Tall privacy fence on a .2 of an acre. Split level home, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 fireplaces, wraparound upper deck and lower deck foe summertime patio breakfasts and warm weather reading. 2-car garage with driveway likely large enough for RV (no hookups at this time)

10 minutes to the resort town of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. About half hour to major city Spokane, WA. About 5 minutes from the Washington/Idaho state line so you get the tax benefits of both sides :)

Looking to start off as a temporary swap and see where it leads from there. Non-smoking home. Unfurnished, basic appliances, room to garden, possible room for beekeeping, chicken coop under the deck, rain barrel underground irrigation (not yet developed but layout seems to suit it well).

Temperate summers (doesn't get too hot - swimming on the lake, hiking in the goods, plenty of scenery, local culture and affluent resort culture, marinas, etc. but ridiculously low cost of living here :) Winters get snow, I think there are about 3 ski resorts within 1.5 hours drive of the home.

Open to ideas, would love to try a temporary stay on the east coast or south east, cottage or farmhouse ideal, but open to ideas! Lived in NYC for 11 years and needed more elbow room, not sure if I'm a country mouse or a city mouse though so I'd love your take on how I might fit in with your local community? Thank you!
