I recently purchased a townhome in the inner loop Shady Acres of Houston in April 2016. It is a beautiful, new construction (3 bed/3.5 bath) home, 2100 Sqft. The reason I am attempting to sell is simply because it is too large for my current needs. I am looking to exchange for a smaller home or condo (1 or 2 bedroom, 1000 sqft.) in the Houston area. I work from home so location isn't a top priority of mine. This ideally would be a great solution for someone looking to upsize from a smaller condo into a larger home, or an investor for a property with good rental income. Since we would be selling privately, we both could avoid the hefty realtor commissions from selling our respective properties.
